Autumn and Yasuaki attended the Metabolism, Aging, Pathogenesis, and Stress in C. elegans (MAPSS) conference in Madison, WI in June 20-23, 2024. Autumn gave an oral presentation on mass spectrometry imaging on C. elegans, and Yasuaki presented a poster.

The Qiu Lab had our debut at ASMS 2024 in Anaheim! Aidan, Ryutaro (Einar), Jasmin and Jacob had four poster presentations. Wonderful work!

What a fun day at MSU Science Festival! Our microscopic worm demonstration, worm arts and crafts, and strawberry DNA extraction activities were a big hit. We used the worm to demonstrate the power of genetics and chemical treatments. Many thanks to our team of researchers for putting everything together!

Our visiting scholar, Dr. Yasuaki Saitoh, presented a poster at the 2024 Midwest C. elegans Meeting at Grand Rapids. Congratulations on a successful presentation!

We had four undergraduate students presenting their research at the 2024 MSU UURAF forum. Proud of you all, and great job, mentors!
