Our recent collaborative work on C. elegans LA-ICP-MS imaging was just accepted by Analytical Chemistry. Congratulations to Aidan!

Qiu lab had a good presence at ACS Fall 2026: Autumn gave a talk on PFOS liver imaging, Alexa presented a poster on MALDI-MS analysis on PAPs and intermediates, and Jasmin gave a talk on PFOS-bacteria partitioning. Great job!

Autumn gave a Rising Star talk at the ISIMS (International Society for Ion Mobility Spectrometry) Detroit 2026 on MALDI-TIMS for PFAS analysis and chemical synthesis.

Autumn gave a Keynote talk at the 11th Annual Chicago Mass Spec Day (CMSD). Very impressed with the event organized by students!

Autumn attended GRC Biosensor to present a poster and chair a session, “Democratizing Sensors and the Information they Provide”.

Another year of ASMS! Autumn shared the lab’s recent work in PFOS isomer tissue distribution with an oral talk, and Kira had a poster on PFOA isomer differentiation. Autumn also received a Young Investigator Award from Chinese American Society for Mass Spectrometry (CASMS).

Autumn presented two talks on PFAS and ion mobility mass spectrometry at the ACS Spring 2026 and organized our Grad Fair table. A busy trip to Atlanta!

Autumn chaired a session and presented a poster at US HUPO 2026 in St. Louis, MO. Definitely amazed by the lightening talks!
