  • Autumn was at San Diego for ACS Spring 2025. She ran the departmental recruiting booth with colleagues at the ACS Grad Fair and gave two talks on recent Qiu Lab work regarding PFAS analysis and worm elemental imaging. She also attended the Nanomaterials & Sustainability: A Chemistry Perspective symposium and had a great reunion with the Center for Sustainable Nanotechnology!

  • Autumn gave a seminar at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Wayne State University on March 19, 2025.

  • Autumn gave a seminar at Biological Science, Missouri S&T on March 17, 2025.

  • We gathered for Yasuaki’s farewell party, as he is leaving MSU next week and returning to his home institute, Kitasato University in Japan, after two years of visiting scholar term with us. I felt super lucky to have Yasuaki as a founding member of Qiu lab and spearheading our C. elegans-microbe research. Thank you so much for staying with us! Best wishes, and looking forward to keeping collaborating with you!

  • Autumn spent a week in California to attend the 38th ASMS Asilomar Conference on New Frontiers in Ion Mobility-Mass Spectrometry from Applications to Instrumentation and the Stanford University Mass Spectrometry’s 2024 Research Applications Symposium (SUMS-RAS 2024).

  • Another year of MUACC! This time we joined the MUACC held at Wayne State University. Aidan, Einar and Jacob presented posters and Autumn gave a chalk talk.
